On the Interforst, International Trade Fair for Forestry and Forest Technology with Scientific Conferences and special shows, exhibitors from many countries show the latest forestry equipment and services around the theme of forest and wood. On display are the latest machinery, equipment and technical systems for use in the following areas: forest regeneration and forest management, forest protection, harvesting and skidding and timber storage. In addition, visitors can learn about heating with wood, check vehicles for the transport of timber, woodworking and divisions as well as protection and recreation forest, tree and landscape and culture and municipal engineering. Target audience Interforst in Munich are mainly forest managers, forest owners, foresters, forest administration and sorest services, forest, and combinations of forest, farms, timber transportation companies, agricultural machinery and equipment operations, forest service schools, universities and colleges, professional associations and organizations from the forestry, wood - and agriculture and institutions from the public at home and abroad.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 16. July to 20. July 2014, about 450 exhibitors from 27 countries and 50000 visitors on the Interforst in Munich.
